Peace. Freedom. Gratitude.

We do remembrance differently.

It’s about today, not yesterday. Gratitude, not sadness.
Every day, not just November 11th.

Our Initiatives

The Canadian Remembrance Torch

Designed, built, and refined by teams of engineering students at McMaster University, The Canadian Remembrance Torch is our national symbol of gratitude for peace and freedom.

“It was super strange. I was reading about the Yemen’s and one of their deaths was never acknowledged … Someone sacrificed their life here in Guelph to go fight in the war. I feel that’s a huge thing that should be documented.”

When it comes to honouring Canada’s Second World War veterans and war dead, the Dutch set the gold standard. Canada would do well to claim bronze. Not that remembrance is a competition, but like the Olympics, mastery reflects national pride, focused effort and unwavering commitment to keep the flame burning.
